ABOUT

A space is not limited to the physical structures that stand around it. A space is a person, a space is a safe feeling, a space is love, a space is personal intimacy, a space is creativity, and a space is comfort.

The W(Hole) Picture was Glory Hole Gallery's second time participating as an Independent Project for Nuit Blanche, 2018.

The exhibition “The W(hole) Picture places the personal stories and experiences of 2SLGBTQ+ people at the forefront of the conversation. These works reflect methods of comfort, histories, personal stories and experiences of the 2SLGBTQ+ artists navigating and creating their own spaces within what is now known as Toronto.

The W(Hole) Picture featured the works of seven intergenerational 2SLGBTQ+ artists from Toronto (Tkaronto) including Eric Chengyang, Fallon Simard, Karina Iskandarsjah, Markus Hardwood Jones, Megan Fehely, and Lisa Meyers.
